Andy, I am continually in a state of shock at the corruption and greed that's playing out. We're frogs slowly being boiled, and we realize it but aren't sure how to climb out. I believe that the Trump supporters were seeing the rising costs of healthcare, rent, and everything else, while their wages didn't rise. And Wall Street (not even sure if that's two words, ha!) was prospering. Anyway, Trump tapped into that legitimate frustration of the middle class, and anger stoked caught on fire. Trump deftly (and sociopathically) gave them someone to hate, and tribalism to feel secure and justified.

I've seen some politicians (Gallejo from Arizona) focus on talking to all Americans, talking to Trump supporters and asking them about their lives. It's relationship building that's the starting point. People want to be heard.

Governor Ferguson pointed out that the tipping point to crush a fascist takeover is when 3.5% of the population is on the streets, protesting. Let's build that, too!
